It is called aromatherapy when the candles are infused with oils from certain plants and herbs that are known for their therapeutic properties.
Scents are being used for a wide variety of use such as relieving stress and even alleviating some symptoms of certain illnesses.
Even on a daily basis, aromatherapy is used by regular people who just simply want to feel better. certain scents are used to heal certain illness and its symptoms.
Aromatherapy is used to relieve people from the unwanted symptoms of cold, flu, sinusitis or even life's daily stresses.
The most commonly used scents are jasmine, sandalwood, chamomile and lavender.
While they have different effect, they generally help uplift a person's feeling and even help put a person in a good mood. The soothing effects of aromatherapy can be felt almost instantaneously.
When it comes to medicine, there are a lot of different fields that people explore and try for themselves.
Aromatherapy is effective for making people feel better.
It makes the room smell great.
It is good on a daily basis for a healthy person as it can maintain the balance in his mind, body, and spirit.

AROMATHERAPY USES FOR ESSENTIAL OILS

Basil has a light, sweet, and fresh fragrance with a balsamic undertone. 
It is commonly used for tension, memory and concentration, migraines or other headaches, colds, other respiratory problems and fatigue.

White Camphor has a pungent, fresh, clear, yet sharp fragrance.  
It is commonly used for depression, infectious diseases, and illnesses associated with the lungs, such as bronchitis, coughs, colds, flu & fever.

Cedarwood has a slightly sweet, sharp & fresh, woody, with balsamic undertones fragrance.  
It’s used for stress & tension, respiratory ailments, bronchitis, rheumatism, arthritis and, also as an insect repellent.

Chamomile has a very fresh, sweet, and refreshingly apple reminiscent fragrance.  
Its uses include stress related complaints, headaches and migraines, and insomnia.

Cinnamon has a powerful warm and spicy fragrance.  It’s used for colds, flu, bronchitis, circulation and depression.

Citronella has a fresh, slightly sweet citrus fragrance.  
It’s used for fatigue, colds, flu, nervous exhaustion and its most common use as, an insect repellent.

Clary Sage has a rich, sweet nutty fragrance.  
It is commonly used as an aphrodisiac, for menopause, insomnia, stress, depression and nervous tension.  You should never use during pregnancy.   You should also avoid use when drinking alcohol as it can make you drowsy.

Eucalyptus has a fresh, strong medicinal, camphor fragrance with a slight woody undertone.  
It’s used for flu, hay fever, bronchitis, colds, as a decongestant, and for the respiratory system.

Frankincense has a sweet, spicy, lemony fragrance with woody, resinous undertones.   
Its uses include coughs, asthma, bronchitis, stress, respiratory conditions and nervous tension.

Ginger has a musty and pungent, dry, hot fragrance with a lingering spicy sweetness.

Lavender has a sweet, fresh, floral and soft light clean fragrance.  
Its many uses include the respiratory system, nervous problems, stress, insomnia, depression, trauma, and it can also be used as an insect repellent.

Lemon has a green sweet fresh citrus fragrance.  
It is used for mental fatigue, depression, stress, fatigue, bronchitis, asthma, colds, flu, loss of voice and also as an antibacterial. 

Lime has a zesty, sharp, green, fresh, citrus fragrance. 
Its uses include the immune system, digestion, flu, bronchitis, sinusitis, travel sickness, fevers, depression, headaches, fatigue, and as an antiviral.

Mandarin has a rich, tangy, very sweet and zesty floral fragrance. 
It is used for the nervous system, hyperactivity, stress, digestion, restlessness, and tantrums. 

Mint has a fresh aromatic, sweet flavor with a very cool aftertaste.  
It’s used  for stomach aches and pains, as an anti pruritic, as a diuretic, as a decongestant, as an insecticide, an insect repellent, and in many different types of beverages and  foods. 

Myrrh has a balsamic, musty, warm, dry, fragrance.  
It is used for the reproductive system, the respiratory system, coughs, colds, bronchitis, anxiety, meditation, and as an antibacterial and antifungal. 

Orange (sweet) has a fresh, sweet, fruity fragrance. 
It is used for the digestive system, nervous system, immune system, colds, flu, stress, depression, anxiety, and nervous tension headaches.

Palmrosa has a rosy, sweet, soft, floral fragrance.  
It is used for stress, nervousness, fatigue, exhaustion, convalescence, and as an antiseptic and antiviral.
  
Patchouli has a woody and musky, aromatic fragrance with musty, spicy, earthy-sweet undertones.  
Its uses include depression, as an aphrodisiac, as an antiseptic and fungicide and also as an insect repellent.

Peppermint has a fresh, minty, strong, fragrance with sweet undertones.

Ylang Ylang has a powerful, exotic, intensely sweet, highly fragrant, floral fragrance.  
It’s used for fear, panic, stress, anxiety, depression, tension, rapid breathing, exhaustion, shock, insomnia, and as an aphrodisiac.
